Yes, I did just watch a full 2 hours of 'Pimp My Ride'. I am still don't understand how the creative geniuses at MTV got and 'kept' my attention, BUT that show rocks! Now I want to know how, or better yet, who funds these HUGE projects. And I want to know how the people don't know in advance that they've been picked to be pimped. This could make for a really fun clip - too bad there is no way in hell MO JO would be interested.

My other guilty pleasure of the week, The Devil Wears Prada. Stiglich claims that Miranda Priestly (the bitchy boss of the magazine) is modeled after the editor of VOGUE. I dunno about that one but the book does sort of make me fear for my future in the magazine world.

UMSL class began on Tuesday, well that is when I finally found I-70 and my classroom. Art class should be an easy A but BORING as hell. My teacher showed us a slide of the Venus of Willendorf -- this tiny statue of a fat naked woman with a head but no face. The statue is from pre-historic times and supposedly represents fertility. Anyway, she prattled on about the thing for an hour and gave Stonehenge a mere 15 min. Secretly, I think the statue is of my teacher...they bear great resemblance. My other class, Crime and Cinema is AWESOME. We watch movies with crime themes, talk about them and write three 3-5 page papers total. We finished up A Clockwork Orange Thursday.

alright, as you can see this entry is getting looonnngg. Tomorrow should give me some good blog material -- the WHOLE family is coming over for Father's Day...haha.
